EXPECTATIONS

Let me make a personal comment: It is unbelievable how simple the action in the spring 1945 was. The action which had been prophesied many times and awaited wistfully by the knowing.

Starting with the princess Libuše who in her vision, ‘saw a big city whose fame would reach the stars,’ followed by Charles IV ’s vision of a new Jerusalem to which he directed all his efforts until the end of his life and which gave Prague its contemporary appearance. And then there were many others, including the famous Nostradamus.

I bow down before the greatness of that exceeds us. I did not expect that I would become a direct participant. I know well that the first thing to come will be distrust, mockery, personal stultification, maybe just silence. If we look back at history, we see common human schemes of behavior. Those who fight the most toughly are always rigid fanatics who presume that everybody has to think the same way. However, they do not need to worry, after all, the following lines will not restrict their own opinion in any way, and these lines will be written with love, also for them. Please remember that also our ancestors from Abraham’s and Jesus’s days were called Satan, yet later, after their crucifixion, they became the sons of God. Solidarity strengthens but fighting always just devitalizes. Let’s leave it to the judgement of time, it is incorruptible. There is the advantage that we will not commit a sin of injustice. After all, the truth does not need the power of the sword or fire to be enforced, this is only the opinion of the weak.
